Rent-A-Center's Alienware Aurora R6 Review

          This is my Unpaid and personal review of the Alienware Aurora R6 that comes one way from Rent-A-Center when making payments. Once a person makes the payment for the gaming computer through Rent-A-Center's website, it takes about 5 days for the computer to arrive at your local Rent-A-Center store.

          Just about after a week of use I can honestly say that this computer would be worth it's money if the Spec were as listed on the Rent-A-Center website. It list the Alienware Aurora R6 computer as to have the following Specifications;

Intel Core i5 7400, 8GB Mem DDR4 2400, 1TB HD, 4GB Video Card Size

27" Screen Size

Operating System : Windows 10

Dell Gaming Headset 7.1 surround 

40mm Neodymium

Wired Headset

Dual 9W Speakers

         The only problem is that when I got the computer home I noticed that the computer wasn't liquid cooled and it didn't have the 4GB Video Card as listed. Don't get me wrong it's a nice computer but it won't run what I need it to with the AMD RX 560 2GB video card that is installed. I have called Rent-A-Center with the problem that their website is misleading and haven't gotten a response yet from them as of yet. So on top of the weekly payment 39.99 plus tax I have to buy a new video card, better cooling system, more ram and an SSD to keep up with the newer games. It's not a good deal for me because I am a US Army Retired Combat Veteran that is on a limited budget so I can't afford to buy much.

         Other than the problems that I have had with the hardware. The System in general is a great system that runs smooth and boots up pretty fast for the specs. The headset that are included are high quality and sound great for music and gaming plus it has RGB lighting to customize the colors to match the color of your choice for the tower itself.

   

        It would be a great option for Rent-A-Center to offer customized Alienware computers and laptops to insure you have the computer you need in the beginning. It would have been nice if I had found a full review of this computer before I bought it but since I didn't find one. I decided to make one myself to help out others.
